Bringing the ocean to your living room!

The Maranthus light was created as an entry for the "Feeel world design prize" contest.

I participated during the whole design process but mainly focused on the 3D model of the ceiling light, its environment and the render in order to showcase it properly as a simulation of how it would look in a real life living room.

The design idea was conceived based on marine organisms, and more specifically jellyfish, and the reflections of the sun inside the water. And so, when turned on, the glass base of the light gives the illusion of sunlight through water, lighting up the room and relaxing the mind.
